Howard Lodge is a friendly family run Guest House a short walk from Carlisle City Centre and also conveniently located for 'The Hadrians Wall' and 'The Cumbria Way' paths. Highly reccommended by all who stay, we offer spacious, comfortable en-suite bedrooms. A large breakfast choice is available with vegetarian options and special diets catered for. Walkers, cyclists, families and pets are always welcome. We have our own private car park for guest use.

From M6:
Leave the M6 at J43 and take the Carlisle exit from the roundabout.
Follow the main road heading into Carlisle for approx 1.5 miles.
You will pass through 5 sets of traffic lights.
Howard Lodge is situated just after the 5th set on the left hand side.

From Train Station:
Leave the station and cross straight across the main road.
Follow 'The Crescent' round (with The Citadel on your left)
At the end of 'The Crescent' turn right onto Warwick Road.
Follow Warwick Road down for approx 1/4 mile.
Howard Lodge will be on you right hand side a few minutes after Our Lady and St Josephs church.

From The Bus Station:
Leave the main exit of the bus station and turn left.
Follow this road to the very end (crossing straight over Spencer Street)
At the end turn right and when you reach the main road (Warwick Road) turn left and Howard Lodge is a few minutes away on the right hand side.
