Terms and Conditions

1. To enter this competition you must be: (a) UK resident; and (b) 18 years old or over at the time of entry.

2. Only one entry per person may be submitted.

3. Entry to this competition is via the link on the competition page.

4. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.

5. The competition will close midnight 23 September 2012, and Discover Carlisle reserves the right to amend the competition end date at any time.

6. The winner(s) will be selected at random and notified by telephone by 1pm 26 September 2012. Please make sure you can be contacted on your chosen telephone number. Discover Carlisle reserves the right to select an alternative winner in the event that you cannot be contacted. Discover Carlisle's decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. You can find out who has won a particular competition by returning to the competition page on the Discover Carlisle website and/or Facebook.

8. Your email address and contact information will NOT be forwarded to any other parties, unless you opt to allow this, and will be held by Discover Carlisle for marketing purposes only. Full privacy policy can be found here.

9. By entering the competition the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity and material as Discover Carlisle may require.

10. The prize will not be transferable to another person and is not exchangeable for cash or any other prize, unless otherwise stipluated.

11. If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to either withdraw the competition or to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value where available.

12. Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.

13. This competition is being run by Carlisle City Council of Civic Centre, Carlisle, CA3 8QG. 

14. Discover Carlisle reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. Discover Carlisle may also create rules which will apply to a specific competition only. If we do this we will publish the amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules on the relevant competition page.

15. Evidence of winning may be requested by Carlisle City Council and/or the vendor by means of a printed winning email, letter and/or ID.

16. Where appropriate, prizes must be collected from the vendor. A charge maybe applicable where postage and packing cannot be avoided.
