Carlisle Fireshow 2011
About the event
This year the Carlisle Fireshow celebrates its 25th anniversary and is set to be another sparkling spectacular not to be missed. The community event will be based on an 'Olympics 2012' theme, in celebration of Carlisle being chosen as one of the host cities for the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay Route next June.
The 40-foot bonfire will take centre stage in Bitts Park, with more than 2,000 spectacular fireworks making sure the event goes with a bang! More details...
Park & ride...
This year there will be a Park & Ride service. The service will allow the purchase of a return ticket from Wigton, Kingmoor and Rosehill. Tickets will be sold on the day at the pick-up points. More details...

Parking in all City Council car parks is free after 6pm. Limited disabled parking although some will be reserved. Viewing platform for wheelchair users. No fireworks or alcohol allowed into the event. More details...
