Based at Brunton Park stadium, Carlisle United are the only full-time professional football club in Cumbria, attracting a loyal following of supporters during the season. But for the amateur player, there are other options to pursue.
Carlisle City Council hires out junior and senior grass pitches at various venues across the city, and many local schools and sports clubs have indoor pitches and astroturf facilities that can be booked by the hour. So, whatever your footballing passion, Carlisle hits the back of the net every time!
