The idyllic setting of Talkin Tarn to the east of Carlisle has long been a popular venue for watersports and is home to the Talkin Tarn Amateur Rowing Club and a sailing club. Both clubs offer trial sessions for beginners and excellent opportunities for experienced boat handlers. Qualified coaches and friendly encouragement from team members help to make the whole experience of sailing and rowing so much more rewarding.
