Details

Ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

Cumbria's Museum of Military Life tells a 300-year story of courage, loyalty and service. Fantastic exhibits and interactive displays follow the lives of soldiers, their families and communities during periods of conflict and times of peace.

As well as sharing our collections with thousands of visitors, we also answer hundreds of enquiries from ex-servicemen and their families, and bring history to life for local schools.
