Gosling Sike is a place that brings together people, farming, and wildlife. It’s the perfect place to escape the city and get closer to nature. Relax in a wildlife garden buzzing with life; follow the farm trail through pasture, wetland, and woodlands to see farming and nature working in harmony; take the family to seek ‘The Lost Words’; and enjoy an exciting and varied events programme.
The Lost Words garden and farm trail are open year-round, and admission is free. Visitors are welcome to call into the centre during office hours (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm) to make a drink, use the facilities, and learn more about Cumbria Wildlife Trust’s work.
Monthly pop up cafes, family activities, a varied events and exhibition programme mean there’s something for everyone, year-round.
