Event Location: The Source
A night of live prog rock and metal at The Source in Carlisle! Fall to Ascend were formed towards the end of lockdown by four local musicians with over a century of gigging experience between them. Rather than playing the same tried (or tired!) and tested rock and metal staples, the guys wanted to stretch their musical legs with a more challenging project. Being huge fans of progressive rock and metal, the setlist is packed with songs from Progressive titans such as Dream Theater, Rush, Queensryche, and Sons of Apollo. The sets also feature a healthy dose of songs that inspired them earlier in their playing careers, so fans of classic British Heavy Metal from the likes of Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, and Ozzy are well catered for.
