Event Location: The Venue
There are few names in dance music bigger than CamelPhat right now so it’s an absolutely massive deal to have them at The Venue in Carlisle this May to kick off the bank holiday weekend. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, they are delighted to announce that Harry Romero will be joining them as well.
Camelphat have been going at it in the music biz for two decades now, but it was in 2017 that the world stood up and took notice when their smash hit ‘Cola' went platinum, topping the US Billboard dance charts and reaching number 18 in the UK singles chart. As if that wasn’t enough, Cola saw them nominated for a Grammy Award and even moved Noel Gallagher to say he wished he’d wrote it!
Since then the scouse duo have been selling out venues around the world and have recently spent time smashing it at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami. This summer they will be residents at the super-cool Hi! Ibiza as their schedule just gets busier and busier.
And now for the cherry on top: Mr Harry “Choo Choo” Romero. Underground smashes like ‘Tania’ and ‘Night At The Black’ in the early 2000s made him a house legend for the rest of time, but he is still very much in demand today, with recent releases on Circus, Robsoul and his spiritual home, Subliminal. As a DJ he’s known for his technical prowess and for being an absolute party starter.
Expect some fireworks from these dons of house, old and new. This one's going to be huge!
