Event Location: The Source
Mahuki play high energy nu-jazz music drawing influence from jazz, groove, and Eastern European folk music. The band features some of the top players of the new wave of Scottish jazz who have collaborated with great Scottish jazz acts including Nimbus Sextet, corto.alto, Mezcla and Tom McGuire and The Brassholes, and performed at venues such as SGW3, BBC Scotland and The Barrowlands Ballroom. The band are on tour playing music from their debut live album titled “Live From The Living Room Set” and music from their upcoming studio album “Gratitude”. See Mahuki at The Source in Carlisle.
