Enter Dandelion or Hoglet Cottage and you’ll find a spacious and delightful open plan living area with patio doors leading to your own private cottage garden, courtyard seating area and hot tub.
Together you can relax in front of the cosy wood burning stove, enjoy the impressive Cumbrian views and garden and still keep in touch online with WiFi. Quality furnishings and fittings even include a Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV if you want to wind down with a film. Each cottage has a well-equipped kitchen and utility room with washing machine and a downstairs toilet.
Upstairs, the luxury continues. The six-foot Super Kingsize bed has crisp Egyptian cotton bedding and there’s a second Smart TV with Google Assistant in the bedroom too. An en-suite walk in shower room completes your rural retreat, designed for romantic rest and relaxation.
Local Area
Dandelion and Hoglet Cottages are about 1½ miles from the village Dalston where the river Caldew passes through on its way from the lakeland fells. The Cumbrian Way (a long distance footpath) and the Reivers Cycle Route pass through Dalston. The village has two very good pubs/restaurants, a cafe, food store and Crumbs a superb baguette shop.

How To Find Us
Dandelion and Hoglet Cottages are found down a short lane, off the beaten track, feeling remote and secluded. They’re also just a short drive from the M6 motorway and from Carlisle, but you’d never know. Look out of your picture windows in Dandelion or over the garden wall from Hoglet and you’ll see green fields with wildlife, big skies and plenty of peace and quiet.
