The name Camri first appears on maps in AD 1050. Since then the Lake District and historic counties of Cumberland, Westmorland and Lancashire have been mapped countless times.

Dave Felton is an author, publisher, photographer and broadcaster who runs the Cumbrian business Inspired by Lakeland, publishers of, among other titles, Forty Farms, Cumbria – 1,000 Years of Maps, The Lake District in 101 Maps & Infographics and the Lake District Sticker Book. He is producer of the Countrystride podcast – the largest regional podcast in the UK - dedicated to the landscapes, people and heritage of Cumbria and the Lake District. He has wandered the Lakeland fells since he could stand on two legs and in 2017 walked from Land's End to John o'Groats. He lives in the North Lakes.

Event starts at 11am. Seating is unreserved and doors will open 20 minutes before an event.

The festival bookshop is run by Bookends, Carlisle’s independent bookshop.
