Wolfgang Flür, iconic member of Kraftwerk’s classic lineup from 1974’s Autobahn to 1986’s Electric Café, appears with his highly anticipated new album, TIMES. Released on 28th March 2025, this independent album showcases his continued evolution as a solo artist and features collaborations with some of the biggest names in electronic and synth-pop music.
A celebration of past, present, and future, *TIMES* brings together a stellar cast of contributors, including German techno pioneers U96, Boris Blank (Yello), Thomas Vangarde (ex-Daft Punk), Juan Atkins, Anthony Rother, Emil Schult (Kraftwerk collaborator), and Peter Hook (ex-New Order). With its combination of vintage retro-electro stylings and forward-thinking sounds, the album is a bold statement from one of electronic music’s original trailblazers.
Wolfgang’s musical journey began with Kraftwerk, where he was engaged in the sound of electronic music’s golden age with his minimal electro drumming.
Today, he holds the torch for the continuing creativity of his generation of electronic music pioneers: inspiring and entertaining, while still pushing boundaries within his unique oeuvre of highly melodic, narrative led, retro- futurism.
