The historic building known as “Prince Charlie’s House” stands proudly in the centre of Brampton showcasing its architectural heritage while seamlessly blending with modern amenities. The large glass windows allow natural light to flood the interior that showcases the building's historical charm. The restoration which completed in 2025 has carefully retained key elements such as exposed brick walls and beams that add warmth and character. The restoration not only honours the building's history, but also invites our diners to appreciate and engage with its rich history. The building dates back to 1601 being one of the oldest buildings in Brampton. Bonnie Prince Charlie made his headquarters in the building when Carlisle surrendered to him in 1745. The Prince was presented the with the castle keys right here at High Cross Street.
