Stunning woodland pods along the river Lyne in North Cumbria. Off grid by design with a private peaceful riverside setting; slow down, unplug and enjoy the dark skies and nature around you. At Broomhills Farm River Eco Pods, time slows, nature leads, and simple moments become lasting memories — perfect for romantic breaks and family adventures alike.
Set in a private rural location, hidden beside the river and not overlooked from the road, Broomhills offers a peaceful escape into nature. Guests can explore our private woodland, build dens, follow the nature trail or paddle in the river.
Broomhills Farm is home to the Armstrong family and whilst on your stay you will be surrounded by our fields full of grazing cows and our sheep, plus you can also buy fresh eggs from our farm and meet our friendly donkeys!
The local town of Longtown is just 4 miles away. Hidden River Cafe is within walking distance or a short drive away. We are perfectly situated to enjoy the historical sites of Hadrian’s Wall, The Great Border City of Carlisle, or pop over the Scottish Border to Gretna Green. The Lake District is also within easy reach.
From M6 Junction 44 take A7 towards Longtown (we are 4 miles from Longtown near Easton).
