Relaxing music for summer
Brampton Chamber Choir will perform a mixture of sacred and secular choral music for summertime at St Martin’s Church in Brampton.

The repertoire will feature a variety of genres with early music, traditional folk with interesting arrangements, and a composition by choir member Jerry King.
Directed by Simon Mortimer, with instrumental soloist Joe Alban, a very promising young Cumbrian musician.
Brampton Chamber Choir have around 25 singing members and specialise in Early Music, particularly works from the Renaissance and Early Baroque. Usually, we sing unaccompanied but sometimes will perform with instrumentalists or chamber ensembles. Our singers mainly come from the Brampton area, but we have members from Carlisle, Alston Moor, Cockermouth and Whitehaven.
Concert starts at 7.30pm.
