Share the Festivities

A showcase event featuring the work of 20 artists and makers.

Now in its 48th year (we think), we have set the scene for this annual exhibition which takes place in the medieval Dacre Hall, Lanercost. A magnificent setting in its own right, it's worth just coming to look at the hall itself. It's the oldest village hall in England and is only open if an event is taking place.

Make a day of it by visiting nearby Hadrian's Wall or take a stroll along the River Irthing before coming to check out the exhibition. Round it all off with a cuppa and cake at the Lanercost tea rooms just two minute walk away from the Dacre Hall.

The exhibition is open daily from 10am to 5pm.
