Join children's author Jake Hope for a fun selection of animal themed stories and activities to engage young children (suitable for ages 3-8).

Jake Hope has had three picture books published and has edited or contributed to a range of publications. A regular reviewer and commentator on children's books for numerous publications and websites, Jake is a passionate supporter of children’s reading and literacy, and he advocates for libraries and children’s access to books. He has spoken at book fairs and festivals around the globe, and curated exhibitions on children’s literature. Jake has judged or chaired numerous awards, including the Costa Children's Fiction Prize, and he is the Awards executive for the Carnegies, the UK’s oldest children’s book awards. Formerly a Lancashire librarian, he tours the UK, giving talks in schools and libraries. He lives in Preston, Lancashire.
