Pop sensation Una Healy, best known as a member of the multi-platinum-selling group The Saturdays, will be headlining this year’s Carlisle Christmas Lights Switch-On.

The Saturdays sold more than 5 million records worldwide and achieved 13 top ten singles and five top ten albums in the UK, including the number one single ‘What About Us’ featuring Sean Paul, as well as hits such as ‘Higher’ featuring Flo Rida, ‘All Fired Up’, ‘Ego’ and ‘Up’. Una has also had solo hits, releasing her solo album ‘The Waiting Game’ in 2017 and most recently has been presenting on TV.

The afternoon will be hosted by Britain’s Got Talent 2025 winner and magician Harry Moulding, with a packed programme of music, entertainment and performances for the whole family.

The festivities will run from 3pm until 5.30pm outside Carlisle’s Old Town Hall, with the city’s Christmas lights being switched on at 5pm.

Alongside the headline entertainment, the event will showcase talented local community groups and performers from across the area.

Taking to the stage will be Kingmoor Nursery and Infant School Choir, Blackford and Rockcliffe Primary Schools, Kirkbride Primary School, StagedRight Productions, Express Dance Studios and local violinist Gill Wadeson Violin.

The free event is organised by Cumberland Council and will offer an afternoon of family-friendly entertainment to suit all ages.
