Facilities

Long Byres Holiday Cottages

Our six specially designed cottages were originally converted by the Dean family from the traditional farm buildings in 1979. Over the years they have evolved and been updated to provide modern facilities, but the fantastic location has remained the biggest attraction with amazing views of the North Pennines and across to the Lake District. The 6 holiday cottages are suitable for big or small groups with the cottages varying in size from one bedroom, capable of accommodating up to two people, to three bedroom cottages, capable of accommodating six people.

For larger groups it is possible to book multiple cottages with our maximum capacity being 24. Dogs are also welcome to stay and can enjoy the spacious shared garden.

Local Area

Approximately 9 miles east of Carlisle is the bustling market town of Brampton, Cumbria. This busy little place is just 2 miles from Hadrian’s Wall and offers plenty to see and do on the outskirts of Carlisle. Conveniently located just off the A69 which connects Brampton to Carlisle and Newcastle, the town dates back to the 7th century where it began life as an Anglican settlement and is now home to a close-knit community with a thriving calendar of local events.

How To Find Us
