Beautiful picturesque rural location. (Amazing area in itself without having to explore far and wide). Beautiful walks direct from the site and from the village centre. Just arrive, chill and relax taking in the peace and tranquillity around you!
Easy access to a host of village amenities to fully service all your needs – 2 miles to its centre from the site. An excellent pub The Bridge End Inn which is only 1 mile away. (Advance booking advised). The Co-op, Dalston Fryer Fish n chip shop, Carrock Meats Butchers & The Country Kitchen Café which is also highly recommended.
Should you choose to leave the car at home. You can get the train into our village from either Carlisle City station or from the West Coast line. We can offer to collect you from Dalston village station and drop you off again for your return journey or you have the option to use our village taxi service by contacting mob: 0785 8574 154.

The picturesque village of Dalston, Cumbria, is nestled along the banks of the River Caldew and is around 4 miles southwest of Carlisle. A pretty village with a population of around 2,800 people, Dalston is a desirable place to live and to visit. With the bustling city of Carlisle close by, as well as the Solway Coast, the northern Lake District and the Scottish Borders, Dalston is an excellent place to stay for those wanting to explore north Cumbria.
