Wigton Town Council, alongside the Royal British Legion, will be holding an 80th VE Day Anniversary service at the Memorial Garden on Thursday 8th May, starting at 6pm.
This will be followed by a beacon lighting at Barton Laws at approximately 6:45pm.
All are welcome to attend and pay their respects
