A host of organisations paying tribute to our armed forces include The Cumbria Museum of Military Life, Cumbria Army Cadet Force, Carlisle United Community Sports Trust, Army Careers, The Royal British Legion, SSAFA, Cumbria Fire & Rescue, Cumbria Police, NHS, Devils Porridge Museum, Solway Aviation Museum, RAF Spadeadam, plus many more. The event will be attended by local dignitaries.

On the day:
-The Border Concert Band will be performing live throughout the day along with live singing from the Not Forgotten Society.
-Information stalls supporting Armed Forces.
-Army Career guys and take on the ‘Hang Tough Challenge’.
-Face painting, bouncy castle, and children's activities.
-Military Vehicles.
-Dancing and singing via Razzmatazz and Norman Street School.
-Delicious food and drink available yo purchase.

Come along, get involved, and have some fun. The event will run from 10am to 4pm.

On the build-up to Armed Forces Day, a flag-raising ceremony will be held in Carlisle city centre on Monday 23 June at 12pm.

A Carlisle city centre flag-lowering ceremony will be held on Saturday 28 June at 3.30pm.
