Share the Festivities

The City of Carlisle Orchestra play Dvorak's Cello Concerto and Max Bruch's Symphony No. 1.

Bruch is probably better known for his violin concerto, but this symphony is worth listening to. The cello concerto by Dvorak has been called "supreme", "the greatest", and "the king" among cello concertos.

Conductor - Claudia Jablonski
Leader - Katharine Bowness
Soloist - Will Archibald

Concert starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets available from the Carlisle Tourist Information Centre (01228 598596).

The City of Carlisle Orchestra (CoCO) has been performing in and around the Carlisle area for over 60 years! The orchestras’ objective is to provide an opportunity for regular rehearsals of the symphony repertoire for amateur and professional players, and to perform three outstanding concerts per year to our audience in Carlisle.
