A wonderfully indulgent evening of music. Johannes Brahms' First Piano Concerto is a real showpiece for any performer, while Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 is almost the ultimate symphony - powerful, joyful, complex, and brilliantly entertaining, with composer Richard Wagner calling it the ‘apotheosis (peak) of the dance’.

The Sands Centre is situated next to Hardwicke Circus, a 10-minute walk from the city centre. If travelling by car the centre is well signposted from the M6 - if travelling south use junction 44 or travelling north use junction 43 (CA1 1JE). The railway and bus stations are only a short distance away.
